Additional Information on Eligibility
This program is limited to national professional medical and nursing associations or societies. These associations or societies must represent practicing clinicians.
Grant Description
The purpose of the program is to: (1) develop and disseminate provider educational and training materials to medical and nursing association members; (2) promote HIV testing as part of routine medical care; (3) promote the incorporation of HIV prevention into the medical care of HIV infected persons; (4) foster the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences of health care providers on what works for preventing HIV; and (5) stimulate involvement and participation of regional, state, and local chapters. The estimated funding date is September 1, 2004.
