- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN)for Collaborative Research with ARC's Human Systems Integration Research Area (HSIRA). The announcement is available electronically at the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES) at http://nspires.nasaprs.com. Qualified institutions shall have or demonstrate access to a strong graduate Human Factors degree program. Qualified institutions shall also have or demonstrate access to a strong baccalaureate program in Human Factors or baccalaureate programs related to Human Factors (such as a minor or certificate in Human Factors) in department(s) such as psychology, industrial engineering, aeronautical engineering, or computer science. Electronically submitted Notices of Intent to propose are requested by March 15, 2011. The Proposal due date is May 1, 2011. The electronic submission of each proposal's Cover Page/Proposal Summary/Budget Summary is required by the due date for proposal submission. This solicitation leading to the award of a Cooperative Agreement is issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions.
