Hagerman NWR Moist Soil Unit: Additional work to marsh rehab to include replacement of three existing, inefficient concrete water control stuctures with 36" culverts that have aluminum flashboard risers on the impoundment side and flap gates on the lake side. The project will include specifications for hydrologic restoration and topographic goals of Steedman and Muleshoe marsh units, taking into consideration management of adjacent impoundments and marshes. Similarly, engineering assistance, purchase of supplies and materials, and assistance and oversight during the construction phase necessary for habitat restoration will be provided by Ducks Unlimited.
