- The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications (proposals for funding) from U.S. nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), private voluntary organizations, public international organizations (PIO or IO), and other qualified organizations to implement a program to assist selected Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Philippines through the Department of Health (DOH) and related agencies to broaden the reach, improve the quality and sustain health promotion and communication to increase appropriate healthy behaviors and practices and consequently improve the health status of the Filipinos.
