Health Research Program: The United States Government, represented by the Agency for International Development (USAID), Global Health (GH), Office of Health, Infectious Diseases, and Nutrition (HIDN), proposes to enter into two Leader with Associate Cooperative Agreements for the implementation of the Health Research Challenge for Impact (HRCI) activity and the Health Research Challenge for Delivery (HRCD) activity specifically described in Section I of this RFA. These two research activities fall under the GH/HIDN Health Research Program (HaRP) Framework described in this RFA.

Additional Information on Eligibility
To be eligible to receive a LWA Cooperative Agreement under this RFA, an organization must: 1) Demonstrate capacity in the conduct or management of health research and introduction activities or similar and related activities described in this RFA; 2) Agree to work with and hire individuals who have the appropriate technical expertise to plan and implement health research studies throughout the world; 3) Have managerial, technical, and institutional capacities to achieve the results outlined in this RFA; and, 4) Have the capacity to collaborate with other organizations/groups in undertaking research and introduction activities in host countries in the developing world. USAID encourages applications for this RFA from research institutions, institutions of higher education, non-governmental organizations and research networks in the US, and developing countries, or other institutions with the capability to respond to the HaRP approach per the program description requirements of either the HRCI or HRCD.
