Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education Grants: This FOA was formerly titled "Healthy Marriage, Relationship Education and Economic Mobility Grants." It was also first titled "Promoting Strategies for Healthy Marriages, Relationships and Economic Self-Sufficiency Outcomes Grants."
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Family Assistance (OFA) is announcing the solicitation of applications to competitively award grants for demonstration projects that support "healthy marriage promotion activities" as enacted by The Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-291).
Grants awarded under this Funding Opportunity Announcement will support programs that have the capacity and proven record of accomplishment in providing a broad range of marriage and relationship skills training. To address the multiple barriers faced by individuals, couples, partners, and families, programs will provide healthy marriage and relationship skills designed to change behaviors of individuals and move families towards economic self-sufficiency.
