Hydroclimate Monitoring, Terrestrial Environmental Observation Network (TEON): The US Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Region 7 intends to award a single source financial assistance agreement as authorized by 505 DM 2.14 (B) to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Institute of Northern Engineering, Water and Environment Research Center. This notice is not a request for proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals. Award will be made 30 days after this notice. The Service is seeking proposals on behalf of the Arctic Landscape Conservation Cooperative (ALCC). The mission of the ALCC is to identify and provide information needed to conserve natural and cultural resources in the face of landscape scale stressors, focusing on climate change, through a multidisciplinary program that supports coordinated actions among management agencies, conservation organizations, communities, and other stakeholders. The conservation goals of the ALCC include to, better understand and predict effects of climate change and other stressors on landscape level physical and ecosystem processes, subsistence and cultural resources.
