IEP Bay-Delta Fish and Aquatic Resources Monitoring: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to California Department of Fish & Wildlife under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA), Public Law 102-575, CVPIA, Title XXXIV, Section 3406 (b)(1) and Section 3407(e). Estimated total amount of agreement is $17,190,212.00. Reclamation is providing $1,697,192.00 in Fiscal Year 2015. The objective of the project is to:
Conduct the fisheries and aquatic resources monitoring associated special studies called for in the water right permits and biological opinions governing long term operation of the CVP/SWP. These data sets provide a critical baseline against which the effectiveness of management actions and the effects of adaptive management actions can be evaluated. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
