The purpose of this cooperative agreement with the International Fire Service Training Association is to study the April 2008 Traffic Incident Management Systems (TIMS) Manual and determine what updates and revisions are necessary to ensure compliance with updates to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and other relevant regulations and standards.
