Immediate Relief to Decrease Unsafe Injections in Selected Countries in Africa and the Caribbean Under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief: PA04212 Summary FedBizOpps/Sec Forecast CDC's Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, Immediate Relief to Decrease Unsafe Injections in Selected Countries in Africa and the Caribbean Under the President?s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. Approximately $7,000,00 is available to fund two awards for a five-year project period. Eligible applicants are public and private non-profit and for-profit organizations, including universities and faith-based organizations. The purpose of the program is to fund the rapid implementation of a safe-injection program that covers the entire population of each of seven African and Caribbean countries that are heavily affected by HIV/AIDS, including: Botswana, Cote d?Ivoire, Haiti, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, and Tanzania .
