Secretarys Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS07-731 CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, "Implementing Comprehensive HIV Prevention Services for Injection Drug Users and Other Most At-Risk Populations in the United Republic of Tanzania under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief." Approximately $400,000 will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately one award to Tanzania-based entities. The purpose of the program is to support the development and implementation of comprehensive, multi-level interventions in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar to reduce high-risk sexual and drug related practices among injection drug users (IDUs) and sub-groups within this population.
