Improving Safety in Women's Facilities: This final phase will continue the work begun under NIC Cooperative Agreement 10PEI34GKB6 – PREA Validation Project for Improving Safety in Women's Facilities. This project produced the Women's Correctional Safety Scales (WCSS) which were grounded in research done by CwRC under a grant from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The scales were administered and validated with the intent of transforming them into a practical tool for practitioners working in prison and jail facilities. 1) Instructional modules composed of text and brief videos on the administration, interpretation, and application of the WCSS: 2) WCSS Users Guide: 3) Reference Manual: 4) FAQ document 5) Various other tools and resources to facilitate practitioner use of WCSS.
