- The purpose of this program is to increase the number of urban American Indian/Alaska Native(AI/AN) women receiving BCCED screening; decrease time to access diagnosis and treatment; increase participation of Urban Indian Health Organizations (UIHOs) in state BCCEDP & Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) coalitions; and provide a model for other state health department programs to work with UIHOs in a collaborative, culturally appropriate manner.
