Increasing the Capacity of the Government of Commonwealth of Dominica to Expand Coordinated HIV Prevention, Strategic Information and Laboratory Programs in Dominica under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief: The purpose of this announcement is to enhance the capacity of the Dominica Ministry of Health to fully implement its national goal to scale-up and strengthen HIV prevention, care, and treatment and related support activities. Funding resources made available through this mechanism will underwrite the following: 1) the development, revision, and updating of national policies and technical guidelines relevant to all HIV program initiatives, with a focus on the integration of prevention into care and treatment; 2) strengthening the national laboratory infrastructure and services and, 3) ensuring technical support for strategic-information activities, including the implementation of revised national protocols for HIV/TB surveillance, routine program monitoring and the strengthening of HIV case reporting.
