Grant Description
This FOA issued by Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), National Institutes of Health (NIH), encourages Research Project Grant (R01) applications for its Indo-U.S. Program for Contraception and Reproductive Health Research program (CRHR) from institutions/ organizations that propose to "build upon previous research cooperation by drawing on the expertise of Indian and U.S. scientists and institutions to promote and support collaborative research that will result in expanded contraceptive options and improved reproductive health." To address shared concerns in contraception and reproductive health, Indian and U.S. scientists will undertake a coordinated program involving participation in collaborative, peer-reviewed research projects designed to achieve enhanced reproductive health, disease prevention, product development and technology transfer.
