Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Tools for Schools (TfS) Program: EPA Region 3, Energy, Radiation and Indoor Environments Branch of the Air Protection Division, is soliciting this Request for Applications (RFA) for grants or cooperative agreements. The grants or cooperative agreements will support activities that directly assist schools/districts in reducing school occupants exposure to indoor air quality pollution through the identification, development and resolution of activities or pollutant sources that potentially lead to poor IAQ. Districts/schools will develop a plan to help them respond and reduce occupant exposure to poor IAQ. The grant or cooperative agreement may also provide training for staff. Schools are encouraged, as appropriate, to include IAQ curriculum and/or use the IAQ TFS kit or other equivalent IAQ Management Program information in their lesson plans. Schools/Districts may use the IAQ TfS kit or any other IAQ management plan to address issues.
