- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is providing federal financial assistance to support Injury Liaison Support for Region 8 (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming) that will coordinate efforts among the NHTSA (NTI) through a five year Cooperative Agreement award of approximately $235,000.00. The major focus of this program is to carry on outreach efforts in the rural Region 8 states in priority traffic safety program areas: occupant protection, impaired driving, speed and aggressive driving, motorcycles and high-risk populations, such as young and old drivers.
