The annoucement was for a partnership between DOE, Industrial Technology Program (ITP) and the Chemical Industry Vision 2020 Technology Partnership (Vision 2020) for a five-year collaborative pilot project to jointly support the research,development, and demonstration of projects which will improve the energy efficiency and enhance the productivity of energy systems throughout thechemical industry that are integrated with the chemical processing and energy supply systems within plant boundaries.
