Innovative Trials for the Treatment of Anorexia Nervosa in Late Adolescence and Adulthood (R01): -Purpose. The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to support small-scale, innovative intervention development studies directed toward the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa (AN) in older adolescents and adults. -Mechanism of Support. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will utilize the NIH Research Project Grant (R01) mechanism. -Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. The NIMH intends to commit approximately $1.5 million in total costs in FY 2007 to fund approximately 3-4 grants in response to this FOA.
