Other Eligible Applicants include the following: Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Eligible Agencies of the Federal Government; Faith-based or Community-based Organizations; Hispanic-serving Institutions; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized); Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations); Regional Organizations; Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) ; U.S. Territory or Possession; Foreign institutions may participate as applicants or subcontractors if they have unique patient or laboratory resources, unusual scientific merit, or documented evidence for support. Grant Description
The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) invites applications for the purpose of fostering international collaborations between alcohol research investigators within the United States and investigators located at non-United States laboratories and performance sites for the mutual advancement of our understanding of alcohol problems and of clinical and public health approaches to their solutions. The program is intended to provide funds for research activities to be undertaken jointly between the U.S. and non-U.S. laboratory that expands the research direction of both the U.S. and non-U.S. laboratories in a collaborative manner.
