International Research Scientist Development Award (IRSDA) (K01): Purpose: This program supports U.S. postdoctoral biomedical, epidemiological, clinical, social and behavioral scientists in the formative stages of their careers to conduct research in developing countries. These awards will support three- to five-years of protected time for mentored research and career development experiences, leading to an independent research career focused on global health. Mechanism of Support: This FOA will utilize the K01 award mechanism.
