Interns to assist with maintenance on heavily used trails: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This is not a request for applications. This provides public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award a task agreement under a previously awarded cooperative agreement. An intern crew will repair heavily used trails by improving water drainage, removing tripping hazards, and building a durable trail surface. These improvements will make the trails safer for the public and will reduce soil erosion to protect nearby streams. The crew will learn hands-on trail building skills, develop the ability to work as a team, and learn about park resource protection. Please see attached Full Announcement for more information.
