Invasive Species Control: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.519, Public Law 108-7, Division D, Energy and Water Development Appropriations, 2003, Title II Section 201. Estimated total amount of agreement is $46,323.00. Reclamation is providing $46,323.00 in Fiscal Year 2016. Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe (PLPT) will conduct active measures for specific invasive species reduction and implement riparian enhancement in areas located along the lower Truckee River within their Reservation.
The task objectives include
• Reduction and/or removal of saltcedar, tall whitetop, Russian olive, and cheatgrass Riparian
• Public outreach activities will be conducted to inform the general public of any environmentally sensitive impacts

A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
