KLAMATH BASIN TRIBAL YOUTH PROGRAM'S TRIBAL PARTICIPATION ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT: This agreement with the Hoopa Valley Tribe will provide funds for wages paid to youth program participant(s) that include: internships, scholarships, conference registration fees, support services such as program advertisements, selection processes, orientation programs, etc. It is anticipated the Tribal Youth Employment Program will engage at least 10-20 tribal youth for various trainings and projects. The program will be offered to tribal youth in public school or its alternative who are between the ages of 16 25 years of age. This project will allow the Hoopa Valley Tribe to build capacity, capability, and constancy within individual tribes to collaborate and consult with FWS and federal agencies in the Klamath Basin and participate in the Klamath Basin Tribal Youth Program.
