Klamath River Coho Restoration Grant Program: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a modification to a grant agreement with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.517, Public Law 85-624, 16 U.S.C. 661 et seq., as amended, and Section 7(a) Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (FWCA), (70 Stat 1122; 16 U.S.C. 742f(a)), as limited and delegated by the Secretary of the Interior delegation of authority to the Bureau of Reclamation at 255 DM 1.1B, Section (a). Total amount of the agreement is $3,665,000, with Reclamation providing the total amount in Federal Funds, [$665,000 to be obligated in Fiscal Year 2019]. The program provides improvement to degraded habitat that will assist in enhancing natural populations of threatened Southern Oregon/Northern California Coast (SONCC) Coho salmon in the Klamath River Basin with emphasis on the mainstream and tributaries between Bogus Creek and the Salmon River inclusive of those tributaries that are most affected by Klamath Project Operations. These habitat improvement activities will aid in the restoration efforts for the Endangered Species Act listed Coho salmon. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No.BOR-MP-19-N024 for additional information). A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance agreement based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14 (B)(2) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
