Learn and Serve America Indian Tribes Drug Abuse Prevention Initiative FY 2008: The Corporation for National and Community Service (the Corporation) announces the availability of approximately $1 million of Learn and Serve America funds to Indian Tribes to implement service-learning programs focusing on drug abuse prevention, especially methamphetamine. Applicants must propose to work with one or more local school(s) to support youth conducting service-learning projects. Applicants also must propose to work with their respective local methamphetamine task force that is supported by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SMSHA).
