Grant Description
The purpose of this notice to solicit an application for a three year program that will provide region-wide legal and regulatory support for civil society organizations (CSOs) in Central Asia. Specifically, USAID is seeking assistance to support the following goals: - Support the development/implementation of enabling CSO legislation and avoid passage of restrictive legislation - Increase the capacity of indigenous lawyers to assist CSOs - Promote public discussion of legal and policy issues related to civil society and CSOs
