Limited Competition for Continuation of NLM Biomedical Informatics/Bioinformatics Resource Grant (P41): -Purpose. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) issued by the National Library of Medicine (NLM), is a limited competition FOA soliciting competitive renewal applications from investigators currently supported under PAR-04-142, NLM Resource Grant in Biomedical Informatics/Bioinformatics (P41) or its predecessors. NLM's Biomedical Informatics/Bioinformatics Resource Grant program provides support for five (5) resource centers that support activities, databases or software tools that advance research or practice in the biomedical sciences, clinical medicine or health services research. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the P41 grant mechanism.-Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. NLM expects to award no more than five awards totaling approximately $3,800,000.
