Limited Competition for the Continuation of the SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth Cohort Study (UC4): The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to continue the SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth Study. The overarching goal of SEARCH is to provide population-based data on the incidence and prevalence of diabetes and its complications in U.S. youth. SEARCH has recruited a cohort of youth with diabetes who have been followed longitudinally. The purpose of this FOA is to continue follow-up of the SEARCH cohort to understand the clinical course of youth-onset diabetes, including the incidence of acute and chronic complications, including mortality, and processes of care and quality of life.
