Local STEM High School Research and Development (R&D): The objective of this program is to target local STEM High Schools, as designated by the Ohio Department of Education, within a 35 mile radius of WPAFB, Area B, for engaging high school students in the performance of 6.1 basic R&D directly related to the technical objectives of AFRL/RQ. The high school students will participate in AFRL/RQ related student external 6.1 competitions and execute projects that support the directorate’s mission.
