Additional Information on Eligibility: Other Eligible Applicants include the following: Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Faith-based or Community-based Organizations; Hispanic-serving Institutions; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized); Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) ; U.S. Territory or Possession; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations) are not eligible to apply. Grant Description: The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) will award the MARC Ancillary Training Activities (T36) Program as a means to facilitate the training and development of individuals from groups underrepresented in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral, and social sciences. Ancillary training support is provided for national conferences, short courses, or other well-defined training activities that further the NIGMS mission of increasing the diversity of the NIH funded biomedical and behavioral research workforce.
