ME Atlantic Salmon Conservation: The Maine Atlantic Salmon Conservation Fund (MASCF) provides assistance to private landowners and conservation groups working to restore Atlantic salmon. The Maine Atlantic Salmon Conservation Fund supports projects which restore access to historic habitat, remove threats from degraded habitat, look for opportunities to inexpensively secure long-term habitat protection. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service welcomes your participation in the Maine Atlantic Salmon Conservation Fund. If you are interested in exploring the possibility of pursuing opportunities for assessment, protection, and/or restoration, or simply receiving technical advice, the first step is to contact the Gulf of Maine Coastal Program. Funding decisions are made within the individual the local offices based on priority ranking factors.
