- Grant Description
- The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), through the Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MRDD) Branch, Center for Developmental Biology and Perinatal Medicine (CDBPM), invites Center Core Grant (P30) applications to advance diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and amelioration of mental retardation and developmental disabilities. This Request for Applications (RFA) seeks applications from institutions that meet the qualifications for a program of MRDD research. The primary objective of the NICHD Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Research Centers (MRDDRC) Program is to provide core support and facilities for cohesive, interdisciplinary research and research training. Funds for the research projects using these core facilities come from independent sources including Federal, State, and private organizations.
