Grant Description
DE-PS26-04NT15480-2A: AREA 2A -- ADVANCED MONOBORE CONCEPT. The advanced monobore concept targets designs applicable to microhole borehole sizes. These designs may be able to achieve similar goals in larger hole sizes but is not a requirement. These concepts include non-yielded tubulars. Monobore concepts should have improved characteristics regarding conventional expandable tubular systems and the potential to seal the borehole wall and provide zonal isolation without cement. The DOE apos;s estimate of the projected number of awards to be made, as well as an estimate of the maximum DOE funding and cost share is as follows: Area 2A --estimated total project value is $1,250,000.00 --20% cost share is required -- ESTIMATED MAXIMUM DOE FUNDING per project is $1,000,000.00 --projected number of awards, 1. The project performance period is anticipated to be no more than three (3) years. COST SHARING IS MANDATORY. For Area 2A, the recipient is required to cost share a minimum of 20% of the total project costs, i.e., if the total project cost is $1,250,000.00, the minimum cost share to be borne by the recipient would be $250,000.00. APPLICANTS ARE CAUTIONED THAT THEY MUST READ THE MASTER FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT (DE-PS26-04NT15480-00) FOR COMPLETE DETAILS OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION.
