Management of Undesirable Plants on US Army Corps of Engineers Project Lands at the Bonneville Project: The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a cooperative agreement on a sole source basis to the Skamania County Weed Control Board agreement for the management of undesirable plants on US Army Corps of Engineers project lands at the Bonneville project. The goals and objectives of this cooperative agreement are to facilitate a mutually beneficial partnership for implementation of best management practices with regards to natural resource environmental stewardship and noxious weed control. Services include but are not limited to: a. Survey, monitor, and GIS map threaten sensitive and invasive vegetation at Bonneville Lock and Dam. Data and GIS information will be provided to Bonneville Natural Resource Section that will aid in the management of areas. b. Remove invasive vegetation from culturally and environmentally sensitive sites/areas to minimize degradation of area. Group or individuals would need to be able to differentiate between native and invasive at all stages of growth. c. Aid in the management of aquatic, riparian, and terrestrial areas and habitats for native species. d. Share and exchange Best Management Practices as related to vegetation management. This cooperative agreement will be awarded pursuant to 7 USC 2814: Management of Undesirable Plants in Federal Lands. Work under this cooperative agreement will be performed at Bonneville Dam in Cascade Locks, Oregon.
