Maternal Newborn and Child Health Activity: The Maternal Newborn and Child Health activity (MNCH) will be the primary SMGL implementer for USAID- funded activities in the districts of Mansa, Chembe, Samfya, Lunga, and Kabwe. Activities in Kabwe will include selected interventions to strengthen capacity and service provision for health services of surrounding districts that refer patients to the Kabwe hospitals. MNCH will provide technical assistance to all SMGL districts in newborn health and will work to improve the quality of EmONC services offered at all facilities in the targeted intervention districts, in close coordination with MOH/MCDMCH and other USG implementing partners
