- This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management's intention to project activities without full and open competition. This opportunity is being issued under a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) program. CESUs are partnerships that provide research, technical assistance, and education. The potential recipient is a member of the Pacific Northwest CESU program. This project would provide participants with job training, experience, and understanding of this nation's cultural heritage, through archeological work in the fulfillment of cultural resources management projects on public land. The intent is to identify various cultural resource management projects with preference for those projects which will provide long term benefits to the public, or information necessary to the cultural resource management program, or will provide academic, experiential, or archeological education opportunities.
