Media Operations Center Equipment: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). PAS Kabul invites all eligible organizations to submit a proposal for a property grant to assist in the establishment or enhancement of enhance a television studio, a radio studio, and/or a print center, which will include the necessary equipment. Applicants may request the entire package or some subset of the equipment. Preference will be given to applicants requesting the entire set. Applicants may submit to two separate packages.

Eligibility is open to all Afghan media organizations or Afghan government entities or Afghan non-profit organizations, including educational institutions, with direct experience in providing education or training to current or future journalists or plans to provide such education or training. Applicants must demonstrate competent programmatic ability and be able to meet reporting requirements.
