Merced River Rotary Screw Trap Equipment Loan: In keeping with our funding priorities, we are currently seeking proposals to operate two rotary screw traps to assess juvenile migration of Chinook salmon, steelhead, and other fish species in the Merced River near the confluence of the San Joaquin River, California. The AFRP is offering to loan two rotary screw traps (one-5 foot trap and one 8-foot trap) to an interested party that is willing to fund the operation of the traps.
