Microhole Technology Development Ii, Area 2C, Microhole Completion and Production Equipment: DE-PS26-04NT15480-2C, AREA 2C, MICROHOLE COMPLETION AND PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT. Equipment will include any conceptual device to complete or produce from a microhole coiled tubing drilled well. Examples of devices include, but are not limited to, cementing tools, fishing tools, stimulation tools, production packers, perforation devices, sand control equipment, sleeves and production pumps. The DOE apos;s estimate of the projected number of awards to be made, as well as an estimate of the maximum DOE funding and cost share is as follows: Area 2C--estimated total project value is $375,000.00--20% cost share is required--estimated maximum DOE funding per project is $300,000.00--projected number of awards, 4-6. The project performance period is anticipated to be no more than three (3) years COST SHARING is mandatory. For area 2C, the recipient is required to cost share a minimum of 20% of the total estimated project costs, i.e., if the total project cost is $375,000.00, the minimum cost share to be borne by the recipient would be $75,000.00. APPLICANTS ARE CAUTIONED THAT THEY MUST READ THE MASTER FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT (DE-PS26-04NT15480-00) FOR COMPLETE DETAILS OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. ELIGIBILITY: All types of applicants are eligible to apply, except other Federal agencies, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), and nonprofit organizations described in section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 that engage in lobbying activities. FFRDC applicants are not eligible for an award. A list of the FFRDC's is available at http://www.nsf.gov/sbe/srs/ffrdc/start.htm . However, an application that includes performance of a portion of the work by a FFRDC will be evaluated and may be considered for award (See Master Announcement DE-PS26-04NT15480-00, Section III, for additional information).
