Migratory Bird Joint Venture: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE-SOURCE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to Ducks Unlimited, Inc. to provide leadership and coordination to facilitate the integration of the major elements of North American waterfowl management (population and harvest management, habitat conservation, and goals related to people) for the purpose of advancing recommendations identified in 2018 Update to the North American Waterfowl Management Plan. The North American Waterfowl Management Plan (NAWMP) Committee recognized the need to have continuing support and leadership to guide the ongoing integration effort by the waterfowl management community to achieve goals, objectives, and priority actions of 2018 NAWMP Update. Specific work will involve engagement with the waterfowl management community to advance integration, through communication and involvement, as priority work items are addressed by existing and ad hoc committees and working groups (e.g., Human Dimensions Work Group, Harvest Management Work Group, NAWMP Science Support Team, Flyway Councils, Joint Ventures, etc.).
