Grant Description
This is an pre-release announcement for the MillionSolar Roofs/Solar Outreachand Communications Solicitation which should be released on or aboutFebruary25, 2005.The overall objectives are to provide outreach and communication assistancetothe Million Solar Roofs (MSR) state and local partnerships and tophotovoltaicstakeholders. The participant shall work with state and local officials invarious sectors (e.g., energy and environmental offices, Public UtilityCommissions and building regulators), nongovernmental organizations (e.g.,energy service providers, builders and utilities), Million Solar RoofsPartnerships and the public. The participant shall outline how they plantocoordinate with MSR Partnerships, photovoltaic outreach projects andresearchers at EERE?s National Laboratories to avoid duplication of effortandmaximize cross-fertilization.
