This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition.
Grant Description
This agreement is established to promote the effective management of the Mississippi Science Olympiad. Both the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) are interested in motivating and encouraging the active involvement of scientifically oriented students in many of the science disciplines. USM is a major university in the State and houses a Center for Science and Math Education. This agreement would promote federal/private partnerships to benefit both parties, as well as the public through increased depth and quality in the services offered.
