Molecular Therapy Core Center (P30): -The Molecular Therapy Core Center Program is designed to provide shared resources to support research to develop and test new molecular therapies for CF and other genetic diseases of interest to NIDDK. Core Centers should enhance the efficiency and foster collaborations within and among institutions with a strong existing base of funded research relevant to gene transfer and gene correction technologies. -The NIDDK intends to commit $2,000,000 in FY 2008 and $2,000,000 in FY 2009 to this RFA. -The NIDDK anticipates issuing 4 awards.
