Monarch Student Development Initiative: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Midwest Region, intends to issue a Single Source Grant Award without competition to the University of Texas at San Antonio. The dollar amount will be up to $50,000. This project supports the implementation of the MOU between the Service and the University of Texas at San Antonio to provide students from underserved communities with an understanding of the Service¿s conservation mission, coordinate educational opportunities between the University and Service, and facilitate experiential opportunities that enhance student career development.
