Grant Description: Secretarys Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS-07-710CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, "Monitoring Safe Water Programs to Improve Access to Quality Palliative Care at the Community Level in the Republic of Zambia under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)." Approximately $100,000 will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to to support a project to monitor the functioning and effectiveness of water pumps (also known as play pumps) installed in the Lusaka, Eastern, Southern and Western Provinces of Zambia.
