Grant Description
CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, "Multi-Level Parent Training Effectiveness Trial - Phase II (U49)" $400,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund one award. The purpose of this program is to expand the implementation and evaluation of the Triple P-Positive Parenting Program. An evaluation of the effectiveness of the Triple P-Positive Parenting Program - a population-based multi-level intervention program - was funded under PA 02072. Data collected to date suggest that intervention effects are promising among high-risk groups, but additional data among this segment of the population is necessary to provide further evidence of effect. Further implementation and dissemination activities to optimize the penetration of the intervention in the general population are also required to produce the strongest achievable results. For complete program details, please see the full announcement on the CDC website at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-CE-07-011.html The estimated funding date is August 31, 2007.
