Multigenerational and Civic Engagement Projects: Under this announcement, the Administration on Aging (AoA) will fund one cooperative agreement for a national technical assistance center which, in turn, will solicit and award competitive grants for innovative, local, multigenerational and civic engagement projects. This center will provide training and technical assistance to these grantees and disseminate information about the programs. Depending on availability of funds, projects will be funded for up to three years at an annual cost of up to $980,584.

- Faith-based and community organizations are eligible to apply. Eligible applicants include domestic public or private and non-profit entities, including state, local and Indian tribal governments, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, hospitals, and institutions of higher education. Applicants must have the capacity to award local project grants nationwide; demonstrate an understanding of civic engagement programs and volunteer programming; and have extensive experience in providing technical assistance and grants to community based organizations nationwide involved in programs serving seniors or senior volunteers.
