- This Program Solicitation requests proposals to enter into a Cooperative Agreement to: assist the National Endowment for the Arts with the 2006 National Heritage Fellowships Ceremony by coordinating ceremony events; and providing assistance with soliciting, documenting, and preparing nominations for the 2007 National Heritage Fellowships. The NEA National Heritage Fellowships are a way of honoring American folk artists for their contributions to our national cultural mosaic. These one-time-only awards go to significant traditional artists across the country in recognition of their contributions to a particular traditional art form and to the American public through their artistic work.
