Grant Description
New Jersey NRCS requests applications for Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. Applications are accepted from all 50 States, the Caribbean Area (Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands), and the Pacific Basin Area (Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) for projects located in New Jersey. New Jersey NRCS anticipates that the amount available for support of this program in FY 2007 will be approximately $250,000. Funds will be awarded through a statewide competitive grants process. Applications are requested from eligible government or non-government organizations or individuals for competitive consideration of grant awards for projects between one and three years in duration. This notice identifies the objectives for NJ-CIG projects, the eligibility criteria for projects and associated instructions needed to apply to NJ-CIG.
